About Me
One of the best things about helping entrepreneurs is learning their story.Â
Here is a little about mine.
The Beginning
My story really starts with my parents. My mom, a Mexican immigrant and single mother of two, moved my sister and I from our home in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Mexico to Laredo, Texas when I was very young. The only language we knew was Spanish. But that didn't stop my mom from getting into community college and getting a job as a receptionist. Through her grit and determination, she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, eventually building her own successful accounting firm. She showed me the value of education, dedication, and never giving up even when the odds are stacked against you. (I'm in the red shorts)
My dad is the other source of inspiration in my life. He’s a dedicated lifelong blue-collar worker and spent his life building a better future for his family through hard work and perseverance. Outside of work, you can find him inside the fastest car on a drag race track, where he has earned numerous medals and trophies, including World Champion. He showed me that true success comes from having fun doing something you love.Â
Education
Inspired to forge my own path, I left Texas to attend college on a basketball scholarship at University of the Southwest in Hobbs, NM. I fast tracked my education and graduated with two degrees in four years.Â
After college, I spent several years working in accounting before I decided to go to law school. The picture you see is when I was sworn in to practice law in Texas.
And Then, New York!
In 2023, I moved to New York City to bet on myself.
Since then, I've co-founded Blazers Sports Bar and launched VIVA Business Solutions—two businesses rooted in my passion for entrepreneurship, community, and creating impact.
I'm still building, still learning, and still sharing what I discover along the way. If my story resonates with you, I'd love to have you join me through Con Amor or work together on whatever you're building next.
